In addition to State Building Codes you may also need to address requirements related to one or more of the following:
The Village of South Rockwood Zoning Ordinances
Flood Zone requirements, if you are located in a Flood Zone
SESC Permit (Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control) - A permit is generally required for any earth change activity which disturbs one or more acres of land or which is within 500 feet of a lake or stream.

There may be other requirements based on the scope and location of your project.  The Building Department will help guide you through this process.  All building and zoning permits must be approved by the Building Official for the Village. It is best to contact the office early in your planning process so there are no unexpected delays in your project.
